Wig School™ is the professional training division of WigSchool.com, dedicated to transferring practical knowledge
and one-to-one hands-on skills for professional wig manufacturing.
Every training program is fully customized, one-to-one, intensive, and hands-on. As a general rule, we train only one trainee at a time.
Because the training program manager (John Yim) personally (develops and) manufactures most of our wig chemicals (adhesives, glues, bonding systems,
and JK-HairCoat formulations), provides after-training technical support to previous trainees, and also oversees the manufacture of
textiles, machinery, and export shipments, training cannot be conducted continuously throughout the month.
For this reason, training is normally offered only once or twice each month. Training is normally provided to one trainee at a time. However, two trainees may be accepted when they are from the same company or the same family.
Training programs cover a wide range of wig technologies, including raw human hair processing, coloring, toupee making, lace wig making, machine-made wig production, hair extensions, wig machinery, and related manufacturing technologies.
All courses are developed from decades of real-world manufacturing, engineering, product development, and one-to-one hands-on training—not from classroom theory alone.
Training is available both online and on-site for individuals, professionals, and manufacturers worldwide.

This program covers professional human hair processing and coloring, from raw hair preparation to bleaching, dyeing, correction, and finishing — based on decades of real-world manufacturing and training experience.
This training is part of Integrated Wig Science — where materials, chemistry, machines, human skill, and market requirements are understood and taught as one connected system.
In the early 1970s, our dyeing technician, under the guidance of a professor from a textile dyeing university, developed a dyeing method for raw human hair, becoming the first human hair dyeing technician in Korea.
Since then, he has continuously upgraded the technology while working on the processing and dyeing of raw human hair, contributing to the production of thousands of tons of Korean human hair products exported worldwide.
In 2001, he joined John Korea’s training course as a trainer.
Between 1980 and 1990, more than 80% of hair products in the global market were produced in Korea.
(In 1985, 95% of hair products sold in Japan and 85% of those sold in the United States were made in Korea.)
In the 1980s, there were seven Korean hair processing factories that specialized in processing raw human hair for domestic hair product manufacturers.
